Seating: 37, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ovidiu Zorlescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Andrei Encuțescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Manciulea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ovidiu Zorlescu took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionică Alb. Ionică Alb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ovidiu Zorlescu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ionică Alb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soca. Ionică Alb made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ovidiu Zorlescu sent off a good shot on target. Ovidiu Zorlescu took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionică Alb. Ionică Alb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Sabin Ciomag kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Soca's Ovidiu Zorlescu got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remus Manciulea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Urduban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Ovidiu Zorlescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Remus Manciulea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Hidișan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ionică Alb made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ovidiu Zorlescu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Carpathian Wolves's Sabin Ciomag got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ionică Alb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Baicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
With 51 minutes on the clock, Mircea Encioiu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Nicu Steriopol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpathian Wolves's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicu Steriopol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remus Manciulea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduard Darabonț during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remus Manciulea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Urduban, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Remus Manciulea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Urduban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabin Baicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Alb having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Carpathian Wolves's Gigel Urduban slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Remus Manciulea. That made the score 3-3 after 71 minutes of play. With a little luck, Soca's Remus Manciulea got control of the ball when Andrei Encuțescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remus Manciulea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Urduban in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gigel Urduban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpathian Wolves's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Urduban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remus Manciulea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Soca defense, Constantin Hidișan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remus Manciulea. The Soca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remus Manciulea should have stopped the shot. Remus Manciulea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Urduban, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Remus Manciulea came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathian Wolves's Constantin Hidișan. But to his dismay, Constantin Hidișan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. Carpathian Wolves's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
