Petre Mihăilescu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Fc Lothlorien's Marcu Panait got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Panait came free, but Emil Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Frânculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Buricea, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper Emil Frânculescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Vulcănescu. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Lothlorien's Marcu Panait slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emil Frânculescu. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. If Marcu Panait had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Vulcănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emil Frânculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Fc Lothlorien's Emil Frânculescu threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcu Panait, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emil Frânculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Panait in the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Edgar Basarab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Frânculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Vulcănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tudor Vulcănescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Emil Frânculescu made a huge save. Marcu Panait took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Frânculescu. Emil Frânculescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Marcu Panait had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
After some careless play in the Fc Lothlorien defense, Andrei Macarie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Dudău. The Fc Lothlorien fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Dudău should have stopped the shot. Marcu Panait charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcu Panait the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marian Dudău made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ştefan Măgureanu sent off a good shot on target. When Fc Lothlorien's Marcu Panait in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Emil Frânculescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcu Panait went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Panait in the 74th minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper Emil Frânculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Marcu Panait shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fc Lothlorien's Dorin Bălan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Lothlorien's zone, Ştefan Măgureanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Dudău came out of the goal and Ştefan Măgureanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Frânculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Panait in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Macarie in the 97th minute of play forced Fc Lothlorien's goalkeeper Marian Dudău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Fc Lothlorien were the better team. Fc Lothlorien's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
