Mugurel Chelaru's late challenge caught a Secueni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcu Panait could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Adrian Vătăşel made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Tudor Vulcănescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Vătăşel was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Fc Lothlorien's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
