Flavius Galușcă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 13th minute of the match Adrian Mălaimare completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adrian Mălaimare a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 13 played minutes MasterBets got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Mălaimare. After 14 played minutes, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Ivan Mereuță shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavius Galușcă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- reached it. In the 15th minute Costin Șipoș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Galușcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MasterBets booed when White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Duca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Eugen Butuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Galușcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The MasterBets players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- were winning 0-1.

Fabian Marchiș kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match.
