The supporters of LIVIUS UNITED MLS booed when Dragoslaveni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Pârlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Aurelian Savin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragoslaveni's Matei Varga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Dragoslaveni's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Trifănucă came free, but Matei Varga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matei Varga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Trifănucă in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Trifănucă in the 15th minute of play forced Dragoslaveni's goalkeeper Matei Varga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Varga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Milcoveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Matei Varga came out of the goal and Aron Milcoveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Răzvan Horhoianu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Manuel Bojonca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragoslaveni. When Doru Zbârciog fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LIVIUS UNITED MLS's protests and gave Doru Zbârciog a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Savin in the 41st minute of play forced Dragoslaveni's goalkeeper Matei Varga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciprian Pârlea got free with Manuel Bojonca in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dragoslaveni's Matei Varga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Milcoveanu in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Aurelian Savin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Varga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragoslaveni's Matei Varga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Banciu in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Aron Milcoveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Varga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Răzvan Horhoianu to make the kick off. Gigi Trifănucă's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matei Varga firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dragoslaveni's Matei Varga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Milcoveanu in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the LIVIUS UNITED MLS players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
