Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andrei Macarie kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrei Macarie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bogdan Neaga. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 10th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Spassky to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, FC Maci -MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Costel Drăgan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emil Frânculescu came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Maci -MM-'s Luca Udurbac. But to his dismay, Luca Udurbac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 16th minute, Horea Cutieru made a precise shot to the right of Emil Frânculescu. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Emil Frânculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Cutieru in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Edgar Basarab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Horea Cutieru came free, but Emil Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Frânculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Encuțu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Udurbac came free, but Emil Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Horea Cutieru notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Emil Frânculescu. Emil Frânculescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Steaua Bucuresti -MM- getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Flavius Nisipeanu hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Horea Cutieru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Emil Frânculescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Steaua Bucuresti -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Maci -MM- were winning 3-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luca Udurbac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emil Frânculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Udurbac in the 51st minute of the match. Emil Frânculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Udurbac in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horea Cutieru got free with Emil Frânculescu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 played minutes Steaua Bucuresti -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Mustăcilă. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Iordache Mortu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Iordache Mortu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Frânculescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Horea Cutieru made a precise shot to the right of Emil Frânculescu. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. In the 70th minute, Eugen Spoială made a precise shot to the right of Emil Frânculescu. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Emil Frânculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Udurbac in the 73rd minute of play. Emil Frânculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Spoială, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Edgar Basarab got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 90th play minutes Costel Drăgan shot 5-6, a short shot which went by Bogdan Neaga and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 96th minute Luca Udurbac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Steaua Bucuresti -MM- fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Maci -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
