Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Emil Frânculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Milcoveanu in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Andrei Macarie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Bojonca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute Andrei Macarie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Bojonca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of LIVIUS UNITED MLS booed when Steaua Bucuresti -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Sârban didn't get a good kick on the ball. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Cornel Levința shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emil Frânculescu but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Măgureanu in the 26th minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Manuel Bojonca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doru Zbârciog during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Bojonca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Macarie in the 31st minute of play. Manuel Bojonca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Măgureanu in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Steaua Bucuresti -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Fințescu to maneuver through the defense. If Gigi Trifănucă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Emil Frânculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Steaua Bucuresti -MM- from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

53 minutes into the game, Ştefan Măgureanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Manuel Bojonca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Gigi Trifănucă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4-2 became the score in the 66th minute when Aron Milcoveanu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Manuel Bojonca threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrei Macarie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in LIVIUS UNITED MLS's zone, Ştefan Măgureanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Bojonca came out of the goal and Ştefan Măgureanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Basarab kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Emil Frânculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Trifănucă in the 85th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Dinu Olteanu put in a rough tackle. In the 88th minute, one of LIVIUS UNITED MLS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LIVIUS UNITED MLS. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Andrei Macarie got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Manuel Bojonca. The crowd rose to their feet as Costel Drăgan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Bojonca. That made the score 4-5 in the 94 minute of play. Andrei Macarie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Manuel Bojonca made a huge save. Although LIVIUS UNITED MLS had been in control for most of the match, Steaua Bucuresti -MM- still came away with the win.
