Tudor Vulcănescu got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 5th match minute before Cătălin Dăianu had time to react. Cătălin Dăianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Vulcănescu in the 16th minute. Fc Lothlorien's Marian Dudău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Fc Lothlorien's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Gorjanu came free, but Marian Dudău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fc Lothlorien's Petre Mihăilescu got a free kick in the 21st minute. Gică Oros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC GURZUN defense, Tudor Vulcănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. The FC GURZUN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cătălin Dăianu should have stopped the shot. Tudor Vulcănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Mihnea Marica could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Cătălin Dăianu however easily saved by the left post. After 37 played minutes Tudor Vulcănescu rounded FC GURZUN's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. 47 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Vulcănescu. Cătălin Dăianu was a little too slow when Marcu Panait got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tudor Vulcănescu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Trapcea in the 64th minute of play forced Fc Lothlorien's goalkeeper Marian Dudău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tudor Vulcănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Lothlorien's supporters rose to their feet, but Tudor Vulcănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Dăianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Fc Lothlorien's Tudor Vulcănescu got a free kick in the 70th minute. Cătălin Dăianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Vulcănescu in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Fc Lothlorien's Mugurel Chelaru made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cătălin Dăianu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Iustinian Drăghincescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC GURZUN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC GURZUN's zone, Viorel Buricea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Dăianu came out of the goal and Viorel Buricea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cătălin Dăianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Panait in the 90th minute of the match.
