Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luca Udurbac got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mihail Ifrim hit a great ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Mihail Ifrim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GURZUN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Ifrim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolae Pădureanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Nicolae Pădureanu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu. Cătălin Dăianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Agârbiceanu in the 24th minute of play. With 25 minutes on the clock, Cezar Boia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 25th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Boia to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, FC Maci -MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iustinian Drăghincescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cătălin Dăianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when FC GURZUN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Oros didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Agârbiceanu in the 46th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luca Udurbac came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Maci -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Udurbac couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's Iustinian Drăghincescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Neaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Nicolae Pădureanu fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Maci -MM-'s protests and gave Nicolae Pădureanu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC GURZUN booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Pădureanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Pădureanu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Gorjanu came free, but Bogdan Neaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Udurbac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The tension between the FC Maci -MM- and the FC GURZUN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iordache Mortu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Eugen Spoială fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Dăianu having to interfere. Eugen Spoială received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cătălin Dăianu came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugen Spoială slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 76th minute. 0-6 became the score in the 83rd minute when Luca Udurbac elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luca Udurbac received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cătălin Dăianu came out and tried to block the shot, but Luca Udurbac slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 88th minute. If Eugen Spoială had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cătălin Dăianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Pădureanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Maci -MM-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
