In the 24th minute, Cornel Levința sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel didn't even have to move. Aron Milcoveanu scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Vătăşel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Secueni's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Savin came free, but Adrian Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Gigi Trifănucă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Adrian Vătăşel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Secueni's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Trifănucă came free, but Adrian Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Bojonca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Stere in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Aurelian Savin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Vătăşel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 43 minutes into the game, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Gigi Trifănucă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Vătăşel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Adrian Vătăşel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Trifănucă in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iacob Anghelescu to make the kick off. Constantin Mironescu took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Bojonca. Manuel Bojonca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Iacob Anghelescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Constantin Mironescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Secueni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. When Aurelian Savin came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the LIVIUS UNITED MLS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Savin couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Secueni's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Savin came free, but Adrian Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Anghelescu in the 66th minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Manuel Bojonca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Secueni getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Petrică Stere hit a great ball. If Aurelian Savin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
