Narcis Popete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valer Deliman went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Albert Bratiloveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Cara, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Filip Dersidan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Narcis Popete stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Vulpescu's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Manuel Vulpescu put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Narcis Popete. Club Atlético Timișoara made a substitution.
