Gigi Drăgan made a great header on Purcaresti CSS's corner, it was just that FC Buciumii's Mircea Zgondea managed to reach the ball for a save. After 23 played minutes FC Buciumii got a freekick which was hit by Horia Zgaroi. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Aron Teodorescu got a free kick in the 26th minute. FC Buciumii were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Purcaresti CSS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nistor Cruceru took the corner. Nistor Cruceru made a great header on FC Buciumii's corner, it was just that Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader managed to reach the ball for a save. Damian Toader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Amandiței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's Dinu Aursulesei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mircea Zgondea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Buciumii fans cheered their team off the field, for while Purcaresti CSS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
