Eric Cimpoieru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. FC Lutanu's Ştefan Gârniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Cimpoieru in the 22nd minute of play. Mihai Stoleru made a great header on Scorpions -MM-'s corner, it was just that FC Lutanu's Ştefan Gârniceanu managed to reach the ball for a save. The wind increased when Eric Cimpoieru made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Cristian Fărcașu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scorpions -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lutanu the free kick. Cristian Fărcașu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Cristian Fărcașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Gârniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabian Geambașu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lutanu's protests and gave Fabian Geambașu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Lutanu getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fabian Geambașu hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Irinel Grozăvescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lutanu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 76 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Pană. 78 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Alamaru came free, but Ştefan Gârniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Cimpoieru, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 92nd minute, Horaţiu Pană left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scorpions -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Viorel Baldovin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Scorpions -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Lutanu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
