Daniel Ostoici made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Team in construction's Anton Iorda got control of the ball when Gavril Burnei tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Viorel Baldovin had to leave the field with a concussion. FC Lutanu made a substitution. Ilie Pârcălab replaced Viorel Baldovin. After 14 played minutes Team in construction got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Scripcaru. In the 15th match minute, Team in construction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Hănescu to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Ostoici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Hănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, FC Lutanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Geambașu to maneuver through the defense. Ciprian Jușcă struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Daniel Ostoici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team in construction. Anton Iorda made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gavril Burnei sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Team in construction's Anton Iorda got control of the ball when Gavril Burnei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marcu Hănescu made the kick off in the second half. The Team in construction fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Team in construction's Marcu Hănescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Lutanu's Gavril Burnei got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcu Hănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Daniel Ostoici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Geambașu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Team in construction booed when FC Lutanu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Geambașu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Iorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Burnei in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes FC Lutanu got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Geambașu. Marcu Hănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Daniel Ostoici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Team in construction supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Team in construction would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
