With his leg Ernest Mortu managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Viorel Pârlog fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Scheia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Zăvoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Scheia defense, Viorel Pârlog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Mortu. The Scheia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Mortu should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Ernest Mortu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Scheia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batalionul U23 Dorobanti the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Scheia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Zăvoiu to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Viorel Pârlog took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ernest Mortu to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Baran to maneuver through the defense. Moise Stejaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ernest Mortu made a huge save. Ernest Mortu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawa Doro in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wawa Doro to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Wawa Doro made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Mortu was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Scheia's Yoyo Doro threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viorel Aluneanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Wawa Doro got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ionel Manolescu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Manolescu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Viorel Pârlog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters rose to their feet, but Viorel Pârlog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Mortu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernest Mortu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawa Doro in the 66th minute of the match. Viorel Pârlog scored 5-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Mortu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
