Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andrei Vârjean kicked off to start the match. Andrei Vârjean hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Niculae Alb might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigel Rânceanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niculae Alb ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niculae Alb in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigel Rânceanu saved Fotbal Club Vaslui from getting behind. In the 27th minute Niculae Alb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dacians Academy's Augustin Oltean got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valer Logofeteanu during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Săndoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dacians Academy's Augustin Oltean got a free kick in the 36th minute. David Simionescu hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Víglundur von der Schulenburg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes Dacians Academy got a freekick which was hit by Dan Popeangă. Gigel Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Oltean in the 42nd minute of play. When Dacians Academy's Niculae Alb in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niculae Alb to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dacians Academy getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Olimpiu Săndoi hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Simionescu during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gigel Rânceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Alb in the 62nd minute of the match. Augustin Oltean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Gigel Rânceanu made a huge save. In the 69th minute of the match, Niculae Alb tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gigel Rânceanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dacians Academy's Augustin Oltean slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigel Rânceanu. That made the score 0-1 after 71 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Alb in the 78th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Rânceanu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Niculae Alb sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Fotbal Club Vaslui getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Víglundur von der Schulenburg hit a great ball. Augustin Oltean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gigel Rânceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valer Logofeteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Niculae Alb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Dacians Academy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
