Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Costel Vlas made the kick off which started today's match. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nichifor Badea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Abrudan in the 6th minute of play. Adrian Gherasim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lucrețiu Arseanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Răzvan Moșneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Moșneanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Gherasim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex Team's Lucrețiu Arseanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Vlas in the 18th minute of play. Costel Vlas in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucrețiu Arseanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nichifor Badea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Abrudan in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Adam Abrudan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alex Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Abrudan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nichifor Badea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when Alex Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Ştercă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alex Team's zone, Costel Vlas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Arseanu came out of the goal and Costel Vlas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narcis Arapașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute, Adrian Gherasim fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucrețiu Arseanu, passed just outside the right post. Adrian Gherasim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Alex Team's Luca Humă in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalie prevented a goal. After 57 minutes of play, Alex Team's Adam Abrudan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nichifor Badea was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Vlas in the 60th minute of play forced Alex Team's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Arseanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Vlas in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucrețiu Arseanu saved Alex Team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Abrudan in the 63rd minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Nichifor Badea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Nicodim Agulescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucrețiu Arseanu skillfully saved the ball. 76 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Costel Vlas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucrețiu Arseanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Alex Team's Adam Abrudan in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niculae Ştercă was slow to take the kick. During this time Alex Team's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Niculae Ştercă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nichifor Badea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 85 minutes, Costel Vlas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alex Team's Lucrețiu Arseanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucrețiu Arseanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Gherasim in the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fully deserved thier win.
