Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Ilie Armeanca made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Republica Ploiești getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sebastian Hoduț hit a great ball. Pompiliu Hâncu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mugurel Buda. In the 9th minute, Ilie Armeanca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus Țiu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pompiliu Hâncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Armeanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Juventus Țiu booed when Republica Ploiești was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Mohora didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Republica Ploiești's zone, Avram Valerian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pompiliu Hâncu came out of the goal and Avram Valerian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandru Chiriloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Hâncu having to interfere. Marius Bălașa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Godeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Avram Valerian took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pompiliu Hâncu to make any attempt to save it. Juventus Țiu's Marius Bălașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Luțu in the 29th minute of play. Marius Bălașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Godeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Gică Comarnescu lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Juventus Țiu's Gică Comarnescu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Costel Lepuș's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Marius Bălașa - 2-1 was put on the score board in the 39th minute. When Alexandru Chiriloaie came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Juventus Țiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandru Chiriloaie couldn't finish the play.

Juventus Țiu's Marius Bălașa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Țiu from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Valerian in the 57th minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Pompiliu Hâncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Bălașa was a little too slow when Ioan Brânza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 65th match minute, Juventus Țiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Armeanca to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Dan Godeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Avram Valerian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pompiliu Hâncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Alexandru Chiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Hâncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avram Valerian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pompiliu Hâncu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Valerian in the 83rd minute of the match. If Alexandru Chiriloaie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Bălașa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Hoduț in the 88th minute. Alexandru Chiriloaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pompiliu Hâncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
