Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jo Bag kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Martin Racoviceanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Agachi, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Văcăroiu came free, but George Agachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vali Ghețea came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Galati Harbour Cats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vali Ghețea couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's Marian Sfetcu got a free kick in the 21st minute. George Agachi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dragoş Pacuraru went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 28 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Glăvan. In the 29th minute, Dan Oanță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Aristide Bocșa hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Vali Ghețea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters rose to their feet, but Vali Ghețea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mircea Avacariței breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Vali Ghețea notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Urzicuța's Mircea Avacariței. Mircea Avacariței was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. George Agachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Racoviceanu in the 42nd minute of play. Marian Sfetcu's late challenge caught a Galati Harbour Cats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Sfetcu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Urzicuța getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Marian Sfetcu hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Alin Şoltuz. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dragoş Pacuraru made a kick off. George Agachi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Pacuraru in the 54th minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Petruț Vlăsiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galati Harbour Cats and the FC Urzicuța players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Petruț Vlăsiu hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Pacuraru came free, but George Agachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Agachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Pacuraru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Glăvan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Alin Şoltuz had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Dragoş Pacuraru's late challenge caught a Galati Harbour Cats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dragoş Pacuraru helped the player get up and apologised. Galati Harbour Cats made a substitution. Valer Oproiu replaced Alin Şoltuz. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when FC Urzicuța was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Pacuraru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vali Ghețea kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Dragoş Pacuraru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute Dragoş Pacuraru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Agachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vali Ghețea took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mircea Avacariței. Mircea Avacariței dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. George Agachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Racoviceanu in the 85th minute of play. If Corneliu Hurmuzescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vali Ghețea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Avacariței having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Urzicuța's Iurie Ogășanu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute Martin Racoviceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Agachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although FC Urzicuța had been in control for most of the match, Galati Harbour Cats still came away with the win.
