Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Costel Dorineanu got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Costel Dorineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Bădulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Horea Ştati left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Buzău fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu got control of the ball when Gavril Groza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Bădulescu made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gavril Groza sent off a good shot on target. Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Leucuța in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Săndulescu. Cernavoda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Costel Dorineanu scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Bădulescu, making the score, 2-0. Irinel Ivașcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cosmin Leucuța fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Buzău's protests and gave Cosmin Leucuța a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cernavoda booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Leucuța didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcu Văduva got free in front of the goal in the 22nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gheorghe Vărzaru was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gavril Groza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Bădulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Cernavoda from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute, Costel Dorineanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Bădulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 33rd play minute Gavril Groza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daniel Bădulescu. 4-0. Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Neacșu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu got control of the ball when Irinel Ivașcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iosif Spiru charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iosif Spiru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iosif Spiru kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Buzău's Horea Ştati slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Bădulescu. That made the score 5-0 after 43 minutes of play. Iosif Spiru hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iosif Spiru to make the kick off. The supporters of Cernavoda booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Dabija didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Flamaropol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gheorghe Vărzaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Ştati in the 57th minute of play forced Cernavoda's goalkeeper Daniel Bădulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Bădulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Dorineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costel Dorineanu took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Bădulescu. Daniel Bădulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Daniel Bădulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Dorineanu in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Ştati came free, but Daniel Bădulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Dabija struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Daniel Bădulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buzău. Daniel Bădulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Dorineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Eduard Neacșu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Bădulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Irinel Ivașcu went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Gheorghe Vărzaru made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Marcu Văduva sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Costel Dorineanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Bădulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0.
