Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucian Huțupan got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Lucian Huțupan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Greavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cere's Laurențiu Unchiaşu got a free kick in the 5th minute. Remus Greavu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Plopșor, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Plopșor came free, but Remus Greavu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Galiceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Galiceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cere booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Galiceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucian Huțupan struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Remus Greavu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cere. After 39 minutes, Mihail Zogreanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cere and the Club Vertigo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihail Zogreanu got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 43rd match minute, Cere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Zogreanu to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nistor Iftimescu to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Cere got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Plopșor. Nicolae Plopșor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Club Vertigo's Remus Greavu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Plopșor in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucrețiu Blejan in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remus Greavu saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Dindelegan in the 82nd minute of play forced Cere's goalkeeper Codrin Vrabie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codrin Vrabie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Dindelegan in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Vertigo defense, Nicolae Plopșor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remus Greavu. The Club Vertigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remus Greavu should have stopped the shot.
