Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportiv Medgidia the free kick. After 21 played minutes Tractorul Satulung -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Burnei. Nechifor Gheție showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Hulubei in the 24th minute of the match. Nechifor Gheție showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Hulubei, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Nicu Arghirescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avram Bistreanu went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Tractorul Satulung -MM- defense, Ştefan Alupulesei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nechifor Gheție. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nechifor Gheție should have stopped the shot. Liviu Alupulesei hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Sebastian Matei hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Nichifor Burnei got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nechifor Gheție was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Augustin Horea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Augustin Horea really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nichifor Burnei made the kick off in the second half. Nicu Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Bistreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Horea came free, but Nechifor Gheție reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Arghirescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Nae in the 70th minute. Laurențiu Iosub hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avram Bistreanu in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicu Arghirescu saved Club Sportiv Medgidia from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Sergiu Timaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu got control of the ball when Nichifor Burnei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nechifor Gheție made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Băieșu in the 79th minute of play. Nicu Arghirescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Nae in the 81st minute.
