Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Valeriu Goma made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, FC Ruscova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Hâjdău to maneuver through the defense. Iacob Pârlea charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iacob Pârlea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Iacob Pârlea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Nae Sticlaru got a free kick in the 9th minute. A hard shot by Maxim Hâjdău from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Gelu Galușcă's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gelu Galușcă was a little too slow when Gică Izvoranu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Ferdinand Pătran got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a little luck, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Gelu Galușcă got control of the ball when Sergiu Oneț tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gică Izvoranu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gelu Galușcă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sergiu Oneț's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gelu Galușcă was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. FC Ruscova's Gică Izvoranu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maxim Hâjdău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Gelu Galușcă made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sergiu Oneț kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gelu Galușcă. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. After a rather tough play, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Narcis Manolescu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Sergiu Tiberiu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Maxim Hâjdău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Gelu Galușcă made a huge save. In the 47th minute, one of DINAMO PLOIESTI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DINAMO PLOIESTI. In the 49th minute of the game, FC Ruscova got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergiu Oneț made a kick off. Gelu Galușcă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Izvoranu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DINAMO PLOIESTI's Gelu Galușcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Oneț in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of FC Ruscova booed when DINAMO PLOIESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Vulcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergiu Oneț in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gelu Galușcă saved DINAMO PLOIESTI from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Marian Novăceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nae Sticlaru. Marian Novăceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Sticlaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute of the match Cosmin Birișu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marian Novăceanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. DINAMO PLOIESTI's Gelu Galușcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Izvoranu in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the DINAMO PLOIESTI defense, Gică Izvoranu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Galușcă. The DINAMO PLOIESTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Galușcă should have stopped the shot. After 85 played minutes FC Ruscova got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Puric. When Ferdinand Pătran fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO PLOIESTI's protests and gave Ferdinand Pătran a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes DINAMO PLOIESTI got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Pătran. In the 96th minute of the match Marian Rada sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelu Galușcă skillfully saved the ball. When Gică Izvoranu came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the FC Ruscova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gică Izvoranu couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Ruscova fully deserved thier win.
