Sergiu Oneț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Calistrat Romaşcanu made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Lucian Gugulanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ruscova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romos FC the free kick. After 27 played minutes FC Ruscova got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Gugulanu. Marian Novăceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Buzatu in the 29th minute of the match. Marian Novăceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Beligan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Buzatu in the 37th minute of play forced FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Marian Novăceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
