Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) In the 4th minute Remus Papaiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of LIVERPOOL FC booed when English Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Popic didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Martin Buteanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Calistrat Tăcutu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tudor Pintilescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Calistrat Tăcutu made a huge save. Dorel Bunescu came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by English Fire's Dinu Radu. But to his dismay, Dinu Radu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 16 minutes, Cazimir Popic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the English Fire and the LIVERPOOL FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Cazimir Popic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in English Fire's zone, Horea Mititelu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Tăcutu came out of the goal and Horea Mititelu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calistrat Tăcutu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Papaiani in the 23rd minute of the match. English Fire's Calistrat Tăcutu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save English Fire from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute Martin Buteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Ionel Arghirescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorel Bunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Robu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, English Fire's goalkeeper Calistrat Tăcutu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horea Mititelu. In the 38th minute, LIVERPOOL FC's Horea Mititelu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Calistrat Tăcutu. Calistrat Tăcutu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. A collision led to LIVERPOOL FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Horea Mititelu hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, English Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Hăulică to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

LIVERPOOL FC made a substitution. Mugur Martinaș replaced Remus Papaiani. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dinu Radu to strike the kick off in the second half. Horea Mititelu took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calistrat Tăcutu. Calistrat Tăcutu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Tudor Pintilescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIVERPOOL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Pintilescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. English Fire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Pintilescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a rather tough play, English Fire's Aristide Caranică got a free kick in the 94th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Martin Buteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIVERPOOL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Buteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the LIVERPOOL FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
