Panait Voina hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Francisc Huștea scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petrică Tărău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandru Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Puric in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Călin Barbosu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VIP's Alexandru Butuc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandru Butuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Puric, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Petrică Tărău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Huștea, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Huștea came free, but Petrică Tărău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Horaţiu Levițchi came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the VIP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horaţiu Levițchi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Barbosu in the 31st minute of play forced VIP's goalkeeper Alexandru Butuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandru Butuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Barbosu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Huștea came free, but Petrică Tărău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Gavril Corocăescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petrică Tărău. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavril Corocăescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of VIP booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Barbosu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisc Huștea took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petrică Tărău. Petrică Tărău dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 42nd minute Francisc Huștea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petrică Tărău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandru Butuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Barbosu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandru Butuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Puric in the 45th minute of play. After the first half VIP were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Călin Barbosu to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Eusebiu Blaj shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandru Butuc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Horaţiu Levițchi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petrică Tărău came out and tried to block the shot, but Horaţiu Levițchi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 57th minute. Francisc Huștea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Petrică Tărău made a huge save. Petrică Tărău made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Gavril Corocăescu sent off a good shot on target. VIP's Alexandru Butuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Barbosu in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute Horaţiu Levițchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petrică Tărău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Raureni Academy defense, Francisc Huștea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petrică Tărău. The Raureni Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petrică Tărău should have stopped the shot. After having played for 79 minutes, Mădălin Zăraşcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raureni Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mădălin Zăraşcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Petrică Tărău got control of the ball when Gavril Corocăescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petrică Tărău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Levițchi in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Călin Barbosu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Alexandru Butuc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Raureni Academy booed when VIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Corocăescu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
