When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marius Encioiu sped through CF REALCipri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niculae Povară. Marius Encioiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Povară having to interfere. After some careless play in the CF REALCipri defense, Marius Encioiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niculae Povară. The CF REALCipri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niculae Povară should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Brânzaru got free with Marcel Noica in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niculae Povară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Firu in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Manole Firu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fc S.Zaharesti's Cornel Moisil got a free kick in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mădălin Vintilescu made a kick off. Florin Eftimescu charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Niculae Povară was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cornel Moisil got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of CF REALCipri booed when Fc S.Zaharesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Moisil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Noica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Giubelean, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Mădălin Vintilescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Niculae Povară successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcel Noica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Brânzaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
