Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marian Drogoreanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, George Plopeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 minutes of play, VIP's Francisc Trifan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florin Suşu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, VIP's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Drogoreanu came free, but Alexandru Butuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Levițchi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florin Suşu, 2-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Francisc Huștea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VIP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Huștea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Anton Mahonea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinand Voicu during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of YR☆ Rossoneri™ booed when VIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Voicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sever Cioculescu fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIP's protests and gave Sever Cioculescu a yellow card for diving instead. Constantin Maniu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alexandru Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Drogoreanu in the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Florin Suşu got control of the ball when Francisc Huștea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandru Butuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Bungescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes YR☆ Rossoneri™ got a freekick which was hit by Marian Drogoreanu. In the 40th minute Francisc Huștea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Suşu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horaţiu Levițchi to make the kick off. Dinu Bungescu charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinu Bungescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, YR☆ Rossoneri™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Bungescu to maneuver through the defense. Florin Suşu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Huștea in the 53rd minute of play. Dinu Bungescu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Alexandru Butuc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YR☆ Rossoneri™. After some careless play in the YR☆ Rossoneri™ defense, Francisc Huștea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florin Suşu. The YR☆ Rossoneri™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florin Suşu should have stopped the shot. Marian Drogoreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Alexandru Butuc made a huge save. Alexandru Butuc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Drogoreanu in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Mahonea in the 64th minute of play forced YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goalkeeper Florin Suşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Drogoreanu got free with Alexandru Butuc in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VIP! The goalkeeper, Alexandru Butuc, was totally fooled by YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Constantin Maniu, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dinu Bungescu was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 84th match minute, YR☆ Rossoneri™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Bungescu to maneuver through the defense. If Anton Mahonea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, YR☆ Rossoneri™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Maniu to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Levițchi came free, but Florin Suşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Florin Suşu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Mahonea in the 96th minute of play.
