Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Denis Brânzaș made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to UFC Veseud getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mihail Răica hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, UFC Veseud's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Dorineanu came free, but Bogdan Ionițoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marin Pietreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Brânzaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bogdan Ionițoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Răica lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Denis Brânzaș came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bogdan Ionițoiu could save by the left post. In the 28th minute, Vasile Raicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UFC Veseud fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bogdan Ionițoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Curcă in the 33rd minute of the match. Nistor Curcă scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Ionițoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Liviu Cozma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Spirea having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasile Raicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, UFC Veseud's Eusebiu Gliga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. With his leg Isac Spirea managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when UFC Veseud's Eusebiu Gliga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cazimir Ceaușu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Phoenix Strikers's Denis Brânzaș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogdan Ionițoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Nistor Curcă scored 4-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Ionițoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vasile Raicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Spirea having to interfere. With a little luck, Phoenix Strikers's Isac Spirea got control of the ball when Cosmin Pumnu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bogdan Ionițoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Curcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Phoenix Strikers players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
