Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) After some careless play in the VIP defense, Calistrat Baicea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandru Butuc. The VIP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandru Butuc should have stopped the shot. Mihail Gheție showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Baicea, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Victor Jienescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Victor Jienescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Victor Jienescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. VIP's Ivan Baicea got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Octav Şoimu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mihail Gheție was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Nistor Cantemir notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of VIP's Alexandru Butuc. Alexandru Butuc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Anton Mahonea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Negoescu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of VIP's Alexandru Butuc. Alexandru Butuc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Radu Humă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandru Butuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Gherase in the 39th minute of play. Alexandru Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Negoescu in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Manuel Gherase made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandru Butuc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Radu Humă kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ionel Bănățeanu hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octav Şoimu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Cantemir to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Gherase kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandru Butuc. That made the score 1-5 in the 57 minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Negoescu to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Gherase during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandru Butuc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandru Butuc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidiu Negoescu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Mahonea came free, but Mihail Gheție reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radu Humă hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Negoescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandru Butuc. Ovidiu Negoescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
