The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Mangra got free with Florin Suşu in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Eliodor Bărăian fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Florin Suşu, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of YR☆ Rossoneri™ booed when UFC STEAUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Călin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goal looked a bit too open when Costică Mangra came free, but Florin Suşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes UFC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Costică Mangra. Petrică Bostan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to UFC STEAUA getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Corneliu Hurezeanu hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Matei Gâlcă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC STEAUA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YR☆ Rossoneri™ the free kick. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UFC STEAUA! Florin Suşu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Mangra in the 38th minute of the match. Corneliu Hurezeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goal looked a bit too open when Costică Mangra came free, but Florin Suşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinu Bungescu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinu Bungescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Dinu Bungescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costică Mangra made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Eliodor Bărăian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UFC STEAUA and the YR☆ Rossoneri™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costică Mangra in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Suşu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Dinu Bungescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felix Cosoreanu. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. Florin Suşu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Mangra in the 59th minute of the match. YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Florin Suşu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Mangra in the 64th minute of play. Florin Suşu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Bărăian, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Dinu Bungescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Mangra in the 71st minute of play forced YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goalkeeper Florin Suşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The UFC STEAUA fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when UFC STEAUA's Costică Mangra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 78 minutes into the match, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goal looked a bit too open when Costică Mangra came free, but Florin Suşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes UFC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Filip Băncilă. Florin Suşu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Mangra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costică Mangra in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Suşu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. YR☆ Rossoneri™ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
