Sandu Ghimpu hit a great ball. Ovidiu Negoescu hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Calistrat Baicea scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Oprescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 minutes of play, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Ovidiu Negoescu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Oprescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Calistrat Baicea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 20 minutes into the game, Calistrat Baicea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Felix Oprescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calistrat Baicea scored 0-5 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Oprescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Victor Jienescu got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Hristea to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Ovidiu Negoescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Oprescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Gherase, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Oprescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Baicea in the 42nd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Lipan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Gherase. Felix Oprescu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Nistor Cantemir sent off a good shot on target. Felix Oprescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Gherase, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Marius Lipan came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans jumped to their feet. Felix Oprescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Gherase in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Felix Oprescu got control of the ball when Calistrat Baicea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calistrat Baiceas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Felix Oprescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 94 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Negoescu came free, but Felix Oprescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely got a freekick which was hit by Victor Jienescu. When the match was over Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC PIETROSUL -MM- throughout the match.
