Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Tiberiu started the match with the kick off. A collision led to FC Berea getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Niculae Frumuzache hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Denis Nenciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Arotăriței came free, but Petruț Ţopescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 minutes, Petrică Gherghe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Berea and the Delphine Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Petrică Gherghe hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Berea getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gigi Ardeleanu hit a great ball. Dacian Iurea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu in the 18th minute of play. Petruț Ţopescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Arotăriței in the 20th minute of play. Eric Dărmănescu hit a great ball. Edgar Panțâru hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Niculae Frumuzache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basarab Arotăriței in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petruț Ţopescu saved Delphine Stars from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, FC Berea's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Nenciu came free, but Dacian Iurea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Berea's Dacian Iurea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Dorian in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match, Cristian Dorian got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dacian Iurea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 45 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Denis Nenciu. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

FC Berea's Basarab Arotăriței was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Edgar Panțâru was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Panțâru. Delphine Stars's Marcel Cristache got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Berea's Toader Buzoianu was substituted for Niculae Frumuzache. When Eric Dărmănescu fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Berea's protests and gave Eric Dărmănescu a yellow card for diving instead. Eric Dărmănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Delphine Stars's Costică Vărzaru in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Berea's goalie prevented a goal. Sabin Vâlcu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Petruț Ţopescu made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Toader Buzoianu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petruț Ţopescu. Delphine Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toader Buzoianu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Petruț Ţopescu was a little too slow when Toader Buzoianu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-3. Toader Buzoianu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petruț Ţopescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Sabin Vâlcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Berea's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabin Vâlcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petruț Ţopescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Sabin Vâlcu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petruț Ţopescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. FC Berea's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
