Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Cioroianu started the match with the kick off. Stelian Pânzariu was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Emanuel Cioroianu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Cioroianu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goalkeeper Stelian Pânzariu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorin Costandin. 21 minutes into the match, Constantin Doicaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Savin. Minerul Baita -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantin Doicaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Stelian Pânzariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Cioroianu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Emanuel Cioroianu took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stelian Pânzariu. Stelian Pânzariu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Anton Savin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Doicaru in the 41st minute of the match. If Nichifor Dragota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Cioroianu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stelian Pânzariu came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Cioroianu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantin Doicaru to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Manchester City's Nechifor Hogaș got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Baran in the 55th minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Stelian Pânzariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelian Pânzariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Baran, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Frank Miner charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Miner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Nechifor Hogaș sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Minerul Baita -MM-'s Anton Savin didn't even have to move. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Frank Miner got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Frank Miner off the ground. When Dorin Costandin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Minerul Baita -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorin Costandin couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Nechifor Hogaș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Cioroianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Stelian Pânzariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorin Costandin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Adrian Zăraşcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Savin having to interfere. Adrian Zăraşcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Anton Savin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantin Doicaru. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Emanuel Cioroianu got a free kick in the 95th minute. Dorin Costandin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Stelian Pânzariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minerul Baita -MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
