Grigore Mardarie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Curteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nae Fundătoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Brăiloiu in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Cucerdean in the 36th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Grigore Mardarie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by George Curteanu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Maxim Strugure hit a great ball. David Iurașcu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.
