Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) FC MeHigh's George Curteanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Traian Onaca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Valeriu Petruț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valeriu Petruț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Curteanu in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Cucerdean came free, but Valeriu Petruț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Ovidiu Moțoc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Remus Ticulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nae Fundătoreanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Moțoc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nae Fundătoreanu. FC MeHigh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidiu Moțoc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 40 played minutes FC MeHigh got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Cucerdean. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Dacian in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nae Fundătoreanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nae Fundătoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Dacian in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Codrin Cucerdean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remus Ticulescu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Grigore Şiman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Nae Fundătoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Moțoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, FC MeHigh's Codrin Cucerdean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valeriu Petruț. Valeriu Petruț yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 65th minute, Radu Dacian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. FC MeHigh made a substitution. Mădălin Enciulescu replaced Claudiu Ghelmegean. In the 73rd match minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Aurelianu to maneuver through the defense. Mădălin Enciulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nae Fundătoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Ticulescu in the 78th minute of the match. Horaţiu Aurelianu scored 4-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nae Fundătoreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valeriu Petruț came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC MeHigh's George Curteanu. But to his dismay, George Curteanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Valeriu Petruț made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Mădălin Enciulescu sent off a good shot on target. After 92 played minutes C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a freekick which was hit by Laurențiu Plăcintă. 93 minutes into the match, Viorel Hrean sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Valeriu Petruț threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Viorel Hrean this time. In the 94th minute Codrin Cucerdean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriu Petruț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
