When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Vlad Nicolae took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tudor Urdăreanu to make any attempt to save it. Sorin Manole kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Paul Prisecaru notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cormoranii -MM-'s Tudor Urdăreanu. Tudor Urdăreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tudor Urdăreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Prisecaru's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Tudor Urdăreanu made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Maxim Strugure sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Maftei in the 20th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Grigore Mardarie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tudor Urdăreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Prisecaru's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Tudor Urdăreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Prisecaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Emanuel Maftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Mardarie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Răduțu in the 28th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Grigore Mardarie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Prisecaru took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tudor Urdăreanu. Tudor Urdăreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Maxim Strugure scored 4-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tudor Urdăreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Costică Răduțu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Grigore Mardarie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Paul Prisecaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Urdăreanu having to interfere. Tudor Urdăreanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Prisecaru went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s Petru Stoiculescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigore Mardarie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cosmin Badea hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Paul Prisecaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tudor Urdăreanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Iustinian Buda got a free kick in the 74th minute. Tudor Urdăreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Strugure in the 78th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Costică Răduțu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- the free kick. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Răduțu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Eliodor Bântu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tudor Urdăreanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cormoranii -MM-'s Tudor Urdăreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Prisecaru in the 82nd minute of play. Tudor Urdăreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Prisecaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Mugurel Hojbota shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tudor Urdăreanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Paul Prisecaru came free, but Tudor Urdăreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Maxim Strugure managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim Strugure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Urdăreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tudor Urdăreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Strugure in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Maxim Strugure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cormoranii -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-.
