Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) A4p FC Gad's Petru Isopescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Ovidiu Moțoc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L and the A4p FC Gad players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Ovidiu Moțoc got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Gioagă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Dacian came free, but Gigi Dăscălescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Ionel Marchiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Moțoc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Rareș Volosin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gigi Dăscălescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Rareș Volosin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gigi Dăscălescu to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 17 minutes, Petru Isopescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A4p FC Gad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Isopescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valeriu Petruț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Bulă in the 19th minute of play. Claudiu Gioagă's late challenge caught a A4p FC Gad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudiu Gioagă helped the player get up and apologised. Claudiu Gioagă hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes of play, A4p FC Gad's Petru Isopescu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valeriu Petruț was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octavian Odobescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Octavian Odobescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionel Marchiș kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A4p FC Gad's Gigi Dăscălescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save A4p FC Gad from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Moțoc got free with Gigi Dăscălescu in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the game, Grigore Şiman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A4p FC Gad the free kick. Grigore Şiman hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Ionel Marchiș shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valeriu Petruț showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to A4p FC Gad getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ionel Marchiș hit a great ball. A4p FC Gad's Gigi Dăscălescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save A4p FC Gad from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rareș Volosin was the one to do the kick off. Radu Dacian scored 3-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigi Dăscălescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Moțoc notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of A4p FC Gad's Gigi Dăscălescu. Gigi Dăscălescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A4p FC Gad's Gigi Dăscălescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Volosin in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Costică Bulă fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A4p FC Gad's Iurie Sima was substituted for Petru Isopescu. In the 69th minute, Rareș Volosin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigi Dăscălescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 74th minute, Ovidiu Moțoc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valeriu Petruț made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Costică Bulă sent off a good shot on target. Nicolae Niculcea hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Şiman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's zone, Ionel Marchiș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valeriu Petruț came out of the goal and Ionel Marchiș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by Octav Cordescu. In the 87th minute, Radu Dacian made a precise shot to the right of Gigi Dăscălescu. A4p FC Gad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans cheered their team off the field, for while A4p FC Gad had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
