Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Șerban Bălcescu kicked off to start the match. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Titulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Ichimescu in the 8th minute of play. Olimpiu Teodorescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calistrat Bara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Aron Mitruț mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Cosula-BTF- and the -BZF- Barca de Buzau players grew even worse after the yellow card. The -BZF- Barca de Buzau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Calistrat Bara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Bălcescu came free, but Ilie Brumaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Șerban Bălcescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's supporters rose to their feet, but Șerban Bălcescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilie Brumaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Șerban Bălcescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Alupulesei hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 96 minutes in the game, Codruț Ichimescu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ilie Brumaru having to interfere. -BZF- Barca de Buzau played a much better game than FC Cosula-BTF- and deserved their victory. The FC Cosula-BTF- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
