Leonard Nakoneczny made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Tymoteusz Misiorowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute, Nadodrze Wrocław's Kazimierz Nakoneczny ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonard Nakoneczny. Leonard Nakoneczny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Jerzy Ciborek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wlodzimierz Haszczak in the 19th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Pankracy Czekaj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kazimierz Nakoneczny was the one to do the kick off.
