Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iwo Biskupiak, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kraków1983's zone, Wawrzyniec Smolak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwo Biskupiak came out of the goal and Wawrzyniec Smolak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iwo Biskupiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Ikalewicz in the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maciej Drzewucki to make the kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Fryderyk Sitko commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
