The referee ignored KoLiber's protests and gave Milosz Wojtyna a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Leonard Kaczor managed to get in a good position for a shot. KoLiber's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Kaczor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ksawery Karwowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Beniamin Miazga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ksawery Kochowski was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Ksawery Kochowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beniamin Miazga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobromir Domalik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KoLiber's Ksawery Kochowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Miazga in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beniamin Miazga made a kick off. Rafal Bochinski kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ksawery Kochowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Jucha, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slawomir Majusiak during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wawrzyniec Pyczkowski's late challenge caught a WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
