Radowit Resel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, one of Astral:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dawid Wozniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Niziolek having to interfere. Pankracy Zacharczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marian Tomiczek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milosz Kaznocha went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Witalis Cipinski to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milosz Kaznocha in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Tomiczek saved Sawino SA from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Astral's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Zacharczyk came free, but Emil Niziolek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astral's Emil Niziolek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Popowicz in the 68th minute of play. Emil Niziolek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Popowicz in the 72nd minute of play. Marian Tomiczek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Kaznocha in the 74th minute of the match. Astral's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tymoteusz Ziemba in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Cezary Fujara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, Florian Popowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sawino SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Popowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Kaczanek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sawino SA the free kick. After 85 played minutes Astral got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Kaczanek. In the 86th minute, one of Astral:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Astral. After 90 minutes, Igor Galaska mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astral and the Sawino SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sawino SA booed when Astral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Galaska didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Zacharczyk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Niziolek. Astral's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 97th minute, Milosz Kaznocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Astral players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sawino SA.
