In the 40th minute of the match, Leonard Majusiak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hieronim Kaczanka saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Zbyszek Gruchacz put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Slaytanic Army booed when Pretoria Gostyń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Gruchacz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hieronim Kaczanka was a little too slow when Leonard Majusiak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Radowit Walczyk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karol Rzegotka made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Karol Rzegotka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Walczyk was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. With a little luck, Slaytanic Army's Emil Walczyk got control of the ball when Karol Rzegotka tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Rzegotka couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute Ryszard Podolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Kaczanka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dobromir Zatorski made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonard Majusiak however managed to control. After some careless play in the Pretoria Gostyń defense, Waclaw Dec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hieronim Kaczanka. The Pretoria Gostyń fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hieronim Kaczanka should have stopped the shot.
