Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leszek Hludzenski started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes KS HANZA Goleniów got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Szostak. Wojciech Ryback struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Bogdan Nigbor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MS Rybnik. 13 minutes into the game, Stefan Grocholski threw the ball into play from the sideline. KS HANZA Goleniów's Ziemowit Poniewaz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to KS HANZA Goleniów getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Waldemar Tscherner hit a great ball. Franciszek Wojtyna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Rzentkowski in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Ryback got free with Bogdan Nigbor in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Rzentkowski in the 24th minute of play forced MS Rybnik's goalkeeper Franciszek Wojtyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Leszek Hludzenski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MS Rybnik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leszek Hludzenski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MS Rybnik's Franciszek Wojtyna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Jarosz in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Stasio Oborski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Waldemar Tscherner made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes KS HANZA Goleniów got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Poniewaz. In the 58th minute, Witold Rzentkowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franciszek Wojtyna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, MS Rybnik's Walery Zacharek got a free kick in the 62nd minute. MS Rybnik's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Bernard Pawlik scored to the left of an out of position Franciszek Wojtyna, making the score, 0-3. After 73 minutes of play, MS Rybnik's Walery Zacharek made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Nigbor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wincent Szostak kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, KS HANZA Goleniów's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Paraszczuk came free, but Bogdan Nigbor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Bernard Pawlik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ziemowit Poniewaz charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ziemowit Poniewaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MS Rybnik booed when KS HANZA Goleniów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Poniewaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes MS Rybnik got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Oborski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witold Rzentkowski during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
