Ksawery Penkalski hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Bogdan Sroka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BESTIA GDAŃSK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortuna 86 Szczecin the free kick. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Gomolka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Filip Marud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakub Wykowski during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BESTIA GDAŃSK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Stasio Gomolka hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Dariusz Cwenar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wawrzyniec Poling skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Zula Walentowicz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zula Walentowicz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fortuna 86 Szczecin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zula Walentowicz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 33rd minute Cyprian Kinic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grzegorz Szamotulski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Sroka in the 35th minute. Wawrzyniec Poling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radowit Poteralski in the 46th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boguslaw Dobilas was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of BESTIA GDAŃSK booed when Fortuna 86 Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Marud didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Dobilas in the 76th minute of play forced Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lukasz Wielopolski fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortuna 86 Szczecin's protests and gave Lukasz Wielopolski a yellow card for diving instead. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Grzegorz Szamotulski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Podolski in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Miroslaw Zagrobelny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wawrzyniec Poling made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Radowit Poteralski sent off a good shot on target. After 89 minutes, Dariusz Cwenar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortuna 86 Szczecin and the BESTIA GDAŃSK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Fortuna 86 Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Cwenar. In the 98th minute, Dariusz Cwenar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortuna 86 Szczecin were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over BESTIA GDAŃSK's much stronger midfield.
