Milosz Mentis started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Milosz Mentis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerzy Dudek. RKS Królewscy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milosz Mentis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jerzy Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Gongolewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Misiewicz came free, but Jedrzej Wojno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of RKS Królewscy booed when Thunderstorm Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Bejger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerzy Zieba's late challenge caught a Thunderstorm Riders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerzy Zieba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to RKS Królewscy getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jerzy Zieba hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Misiewicz in the 22nd minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Jedrzej Wojno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerzy Zieba in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jedrzej Wojno saved Thunderstorm Riders from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Siekierski in the 28th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Jedrzej Wojno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Gustaw Misiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Wojno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Thunderstorm Riders's Tomasz Puszynski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jerzy Dudek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Gongolewicz's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Jerzy Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Mentis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Grabowicz replaced Ludomil Drapinski. 62 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Zieba came free, but Jedrzej Wojno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Jerzy Zieba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Wojno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Napoleon Cipinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Alfred Gongolewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerzy Dudek. Alfred Gongolewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Jedrzej Wojno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Misiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Misiewicz in the 76th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Jedrzej Wojno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thunderstorm Riders's Jedrzej Wojno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Zieba in the 78th minute of play. Napoleon Cipinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jedrzej Wojno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Zieba in the 91st minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Jedrzej Wojno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Gustaw Misiewicz notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Thunderstorm Riders's Jedrzej Wojno. Jedrzej Wojno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see RKS Królewscy lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
