PAIDAGOGOS's Leon Ciszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Zieba in the 10th minute of play. When Zbigniew Smolarek fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PAIDAGOGOS's protests and gave Zbigniew Smolarek a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to PAIDAGOGOS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. After 14 played minutes, JUNICO Ełk's Norbert Malewicz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leon Ciszewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JUNICO Ełk reached it. 2-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Ulryk Lerych elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With his leg Boleslaw Bartocha managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when PAIDAGOGOS's Rob Lode fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The JUNICO Ełk fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when JUNICO Ełk's Ryszard Zieba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 33 minutes, Ryszard Zieba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JUNICO Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Zieba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The JUNICO Ełk fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when JUNICO Ełk's Ryszard Zieba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rob Lode fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Bartocha having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Zieba in the 45th minute of play forced PAIDAGOGOS's goalkeeper Leon Ciszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rob Lode stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PAIDAGOGOS booed when JUNICO Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Puchlik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rob Lode in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boleslaw Bartocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boleslaw Bartocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PAIDAGOGOS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
