The referee showed Borys Golob the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 8 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Franciszek Gongola broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Kelaino Mbappè managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modlau's supporters rose to their feet, but Kelaino Mbappè was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Solarek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Eugeniusz Kaminski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Modlau's Krzysztof Cielencki got control of the ball when Konstanty Winnicki tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Modlau's goalkeeper Krzysztof Cielencki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konstanty Winnicki. In the 26thth minute of the game Kelaino Mbappè who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jan Solarek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boruc Szostak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Krzysztof Cielencki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goal looked a bit too open when Kelaino Mbappè came free, but Jan Solarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Mazierski came free, but Jan Solarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krzysztof Cielencki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafal Zawada made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Konstanty Winnicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Zawada in the 56th minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Krzysztof Cielencki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Cielencki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Zawada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MZ Wodzisław Śląski getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Eugeniusz Kaminski hit a great ball. Modlau made a substitution. Lucjan Dziedelonis replaced Bernard Charamut. The supporters of Modlau booed when MZ Wodzisław Śląski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugeniusz Kaminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Lucjan Dziedelonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Solarek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwo Dziedziak in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomir Werra during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, MZ Wodzisław Śląski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Werra to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match Janusz Piczak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Solarek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski fans cheered their team off the field, for while Modlau had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
