The supporters of 2kC Poznań booed when MZ Wodzisław Śląski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Werra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Michal Latocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Solarek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of 2kC Poznań booed when MZ Wodzisław Śląski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Werra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucjan Soroka was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, 2kC Poznań's Rafal Piekarczyk got a free kick in the 24th minute. Izydor Pilipiec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franciszek Gongola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Poreda to maneuver through the defense. Izydor Pilipiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Szostak in the 30th minute of the match. Damian Wykowski hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartlomiej Nikodemski in the 34th managed to get into a good position. After having played for 39 minutes, Jakub Poreda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 2kC Poznań's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Poreda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Izydor Pilipiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Szostak, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Pankracy Huk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes of play, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Boruc Szostak made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Izydor Pilipiec was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafal Zawada made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Rafal Zawada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Izydor Pilipiec. The goal made the score 1-2. 59 minutes into the game, Boruc Szostak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 2kC Poznań the free kick. In the 59th match minute, MZ Wodzisław Śląski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Szostak to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the MZ Wodzisław Śląski defense, Sebastian Sienkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Solarek. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Solarek should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pankracy Huk during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Pankracy Huk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match, Boruc Szostak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Izydor Pilipiec was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
